O Canada.... what a beautiful day it was on Wednesday when we hit the Waterfront Canada Day Celebrations in North Vancouver. The kids, husband and myself went to see what was going on and support our local community. My dear friend Sylvia was there twisting up a storm of course. The weather was perfect and even though we're not Canadian by birth, we felt like we were home amongst all the different nationalities represented. I think, as emigrants, we appreciate freedom to travel and live in our place of choice much more as we've been through so much in order to get here. It was a great day and as you can see, I made the most of it, giving out business cards and mingling. ( I was too late to be considered for the gig, maybe next year?)
