Putting on my Make-Up Artist hat for a change!

Today I had the honour of doing the make-up for a beautiful, young lady who was to be a guest at a Graduation Banquet at a local school this evening. As you can see, she didn't need much in the way of 'beauty' make-up, but she requested a 'smoky eye' with a twist and needed some help. We met last week for a rehearsal to try out a couple of different takes on the 'smoky eye'. First, we wanted to try a colourful version which meant still using black as the base but with a forest green patted on the top to give a duo-chrome look. This looked good but we still had the other eye to do! This time I decided to use the black base again but with a brown shadow patted on and then a sparkling golden shimmer shadow
on the centre of the lid. Click on the image on the left for a close up view. This turned out to be the 'one' as it looked like a classic smoky eye with the added pizazz required for the evening's affair. She was very happy and I got some amazing photos for the site. Check out the Beauty gallery for more.
